Lumen Energy & Environment has today been announced as one of a group of consultancies appointed by the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership to support companies wanting to enter the offshore wind sector.
LumenEE has been chosen to support delivery of WEST - the Wind Energy Support Toolkit - pilot programme.
LumenEE worked as part of a group of leading independent experts from across the offshore wind sector, and led submission of the successful bid. Together our project team brings wide and deep sector knowledge and a longstanding track record of supporting business growth and innovation.
The LumenEE project team includes Maf Smith, Isla Robb of EC20, Mike Newman of Pelargy, Lesley Black of Blackwind, Calum McCallum of Merklands Communications, Rich Furniss of POSET-Renew and Steve Pugh of Growth Strategy Roadmap.
WEST will support the growth of new and existing offshore wind supply chain companies by providing needs-focused expert business support, market intelligence, and insight into the sector for both existing and cross-sector supply chain companies. To meet the needs of the sector and build a strong UK supply chain that can meet the growth ambitions set out in the UK Offshore Wind Sector Deal, there must be a cross-transfer of knowledge, skills and technologies from other sectors. This, in parallel with strengthening the capabilities of existing supply chain companies, is a key focus for the OWGP and the WEST Programme.
Lumen Energy & Environment has been selected alongside 4C Offshore, BVG Associates, Everoze, Opergy, Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, RTC North and Xodus Group to deliver the programme.
